Topsy-Turvy Week

Ever have those moments that are part planning, part drowsiness and part humor? In throwing out ideas as to how I could get possessions from the Colorado Springs early in the morning I jotted down the following:

Lines 4 and 5 made me smile. As it turns out I have a UHaul on reserve so don’t need Yanni’s big pink trucks (Line 5) I’ve been listening to the music a lot this week so the pink trucks sprung to my mind.

If a magic carpet comes available however (Line 4) I might consider trading it for my UHaul. If not I won’t be crushed. The UHaul will do fine.

In addition to other errands, I have rented the cargo van for next weekend. After that all of my possessions will be out of Colorado Springs and in Canon City.

I am still adapting to an overnight job. Three days this week I came home and literally slept until I had to get up and go to work again (about 12 hours.)

Grateful I’ve been able to pull it off. The work itself is going fine. Now I just need to learn how to stay awake some of the time I am off.

This blog post is short, sweet and simple. My philosopher brain is still in sleep mode. I am surfing topsy turvy sleep cycles through soft, tired eyes and yet I’ve also gotten a lot done in the short time I’ve been awake this week.

I’d write more but it is time for a nap.
