Today’s project… new tires for the car. Many thanks to the fine folks at Discount Tire on Dublin and Academy in Colorado Springs. They have been wonderful not only today, but for all other tire changes this car has had since I’ve owned it.
Two days off for this human because Sunday and Monday are my weekend. Life is fine, although hair could use a brushing. Overall, no complaints here.
Life ever expands. New people enter and add to friends and acquaintances. I seek to be of service in new ways and maintain what I already do. It is a week of maintenance and limbo, adjusting to an overnight work shift for which I volunteered. It might be long or short term, but it is working fine.
Grateful for people. Grateful for moments of joy, even as I sit here waiting for my car. I have a rich inner life and am easily entertained. Contributing to life and helping people is enjoyable. I fantasize about making and donating things when I see something that is needed… clothes items, bags, clothing protectors. Other times, I get ideas of how art could serve. The ideas excite me.
The problem is not a lack of things to do in this world or ways to give. The problem is possibilities are infinite and actual time and resources are not. I can do anything but not everything, so I put some thought and planning into it.
I am inspired and seek to inspire and every day presents new opportunities. Whether I am on off the job, alone or with others life is good! Whether I am working, playing, walking, writing, reading, creating art, listening to music, or sitting here getting new tires, life is good!
