The below was filmed during this morning’s trip to water the community garden plots. Perhaps I am feeling optimistic, but I learned there is a local Loaves and Fishes which takes donated food if there is more than my family, friends and coworkers can consume. It is too early to say, but if all plants thrive that I have planted I will have a bounty in the fall.
I enjoyed using iMovie to make the video which I haven’t used in a while. I supported graphics programs in the Bay Area in a previous life and love photography and desktop publishing. It helped when I published my book to communicate with the publisher, and it helped to develop my simple website and blog later, but I have not changed the structure of the website in a while. I have not been using the tech skills in Canon City as it feels there isn’t much need for them, but that doesn’t mean I can’t do things on my own. I hope to apply all my skills, including tech skills, to express myself and help others.
Until then, maybe I can grow them a zucchini or two.
